Thoughts

So much strength in such a little body. You were the best mother in law I could've wished for and you were always there if anyone needed you. Rest peacefully now.

Nan, I have always looked up to you from when I was a little girl. The strongest person I know. Always there when I needed you and you always knew what to say and do. I loved spending all of the school holidays staying with you, watching "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "The Sound of Music" on repeat, all our holidays abroad and our trips to Bournemouth every Summer. You were my biggest supporter, you never missed a dance competition, took me to my exams and auditions no matter how far they were and even came to my dance exam classes to watch and make notes! You would walk miles to see the girls when they were born and I couldn't drive and you were there at every competition and show they did too. You looked after them so I could go back to work and now they have memories with you that they too can treasure forever. I will be forever grateful for everything you did for me, Evie and Hallie. I am absolutely heartbroken that you are no longer here but I know you will be watching everything we do. Heaven has gained the most precious angel. Goodnight Nan, sleep tight, love you forever and always ❤️ Love Nicola xxxx

I was a lucky little girl I got you all to myself, as I was the one that made you a nanny first we all had our own time with you, Nan I remember you teaching me to knit you had some patience! but you taught me so much more you taught me to be an independent woman & to work for what I want. You always encouraged us all to do what ever made us happy & to stand up for what we believed was right. I will miss you shouting at me when I’m getting on your nerves & your dry sense of humour & quick wit. I miss our morning chats at the table & tales you told me, I hope you was as proud of me as I was of you, an honourable gentle Nan, You will forever be in my heart Nan good night god bless I love you
